How to Add an Extra Layer of Security to Your Facebook Account?

Most of the people use facebook and they are tired from being hacked. Some people don't know about this feature. They can add an extra layer of security to their facebook account. But for enabling this you have to connect your mobile number to facebook account.

How this feature work?

When you login to your account from an unknown browser (Where you have never login before) facebook send a code to your mobile then you have to enter that code on the browser to login to your account. Every time you access your account from a new browser or computer then the security code is required. If you access to your account from the same browser then, only the first time you need to enter the security code.

Facebook also provide 10 emergency codes with these codes you can login to your account if you have not accessed to your mobile. You can also regenerate them.

How to enable this feature?

1. First of all login to your facebook account.
2. Then go to settings.
   
3. Click on Security. Click edit Login approvals.
   
4. Check this box and Save Changes.
