Appreciation Prize from my University Teacher

Tahir Habib got an appreciation prize from his university teacher for displaying the entry test result on the universities official website.

As I am not an expert in Web Developing, I started it as my hobby. I started the journey of blogging since I was in 10th class. I learn about blogging and found that I am in love with blogging. 😅 I found the blogger as a blogging platform, so I started blogging on Blogger. As time passes I learn a lot of things itself without any tuition or by attending proper classes. I get some command on HTML and CSS coding. Later on, I found Wordpress as a blogging platform so I learn a little bit about WordPress as a blogging platform. 

Now I'm doing BSc. (Hons.) Agriculture major in Food Science and Technology from the Muhammad Nawaz Shareef University of Agriculture, Multan. For the first time in Pakistan University was going to start BSc. Agro-Industrial Engineering and Technology (AIET), so to get admission in this discipline it requires an entry test (UET, HEC & MNSUAM).

At the time of the entry test result, one of my respected teacher Engr. Shahzad Ahmad wants to upload the result to the university website in the way that a student can see only his/her result by typing his/her CNIC number instead of getting a PDF file showing the result of all students. He called me and assigned this task to complete it in just 3-5 days. I start working on it, viewed thousands of resource pages and tried hundreds of WordPress plugins, finally, I found a plugin after working 132 hours.

Key Features of Result Page.

1. The page showing the results were very simple.
2. Only have a University logo with the university and department name.
   
3. Result box contains Student Name, Test Date, Roll Number, CNIC Number, Fathers Name and most important Marks in Entry Test. 😜
4. Responsive for printing.
   

The only thing I hated about this is that the page was hosted on a free hosting provided by 000webhost. Due to a technical error, I was unable to do this on the universities official site.

The teacher like my work and appreciated me in front of my class and give a prize (Envelope having his Signature 😊) to me. 😇

Offcourse, this values me a lot.

A person who is appreciated, always do more than what is expected from him
